Property Tax Abatement
The City of Estherville offers a 5 year property tax abatement program on the first $75,000 of new valuation added by the construction of a new residential property. An application must be filed with and approved by the City of Estherville to qualify. The estimated value of this abatement is approximately $8,000 over 5 years however is subject to change based on the tax levy.
