(All activities take place in Library Square!) 6:30pm Corny Kids Fishing Competition - Carrico Heights Pond, Brad Alan Blvd- First 30 kids in attendance get a gift bag provided by Pure Fishing! Children 15 and under. Prizes for winners. All kids must be accompanied by an adult! Bring your own poles and equipment. 2019 parking issues due to construction please use caution when entering Carrico Heights!
FRIDAY AUGUST 2nd 1pm: Sweet Corn Days Golf Tournament 4 person Scramble tournament with 1pm shotgun start! $40 per person or $50 with a cart includes prizes, keg beer and appetizers! Bring some lawn chairs and check out the biggest parade in NW Iowa! - Register to be in the parade HERE! Located on N 6th Street 12-2:30pm with a 1:30pm show on center stage, Mr. Twister: Free balloon animals for the kids plus an entertaining show on Center Stage! 12:30 - 3pm Rock'n the Square: New this year check out Live Band Adam Layman and Jacob Wittkamp playing all your favorites! 1pm Sweet Bikes and Sweet Cars Fun Run: Begins at Mac's Top Hat ends at Woody's Pizza. $15 entry fee with cash prizes! Located on N 7th Street 1-4pm IZAAK Walton 5 Stand Sporting Clays - Located at IZAAK Walton, $15 for 50 rounds prizes for both youth and adults 2pm Kids water fights - Located on North 6th Street! 3pm Bean Bag Tournament: 2:30pm registration located in Thoreson Park! 6-9pm Evill Motorcycle Show, Woody's Pizza. Bring your motorcycle down and show it off. No registration fee! 8pm-11pm Youth Dance (Ages 12-17) $5 entry fee 9pm-1am Street Dance, Live Band, Junk FM is back, playing your favorites from past and present! 21+ for beer but 19-20 year olds allowed entry! $5 cover charge!
SUNDAY AUGUST 4th 9am-noon Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast. Located in the Duhigg Center 10:30am Worship Service in the Park, hosted by multiple Estherville Churches. Located in Library Square. Bring a lawn chair. 1pm Des Moines River Fun Float: Drop boats at A17 Bridge Access. Park at 4th Street Bridge Access. Bus available to take you to the start for a small fee. Boats launch at 1pm. Free will donation dinner at the end of float. Please use caution and float at your own risk. Must provide your own boat/float. Hosted by the Emmet County Water Trails Association! Float at your own risk! Subject to river conditions! 2-6pm Free Swim & Pool Party - Regional Wellness Center 2pm Ping Pong Tournament - Regional Wellness Center. Pre-register between noon and 1:30pm.
